Welcome to the Butterfly Project
Our mission is to better understand the lived experience of families suffering baby loss in a multiple pregnancy by conducting research, raising public awareness of twinless twins, and improving education for healthcare and other professionals.
Our Future Learn course
Loss of a Baby in Multiple Pregnancy: Supporting Grieving Parents
We have produced a 4-hour eLearning course aimed at health care professionals but may also be of interest to families and friends. However, please note the course discusses highly emotional topics around baby loss and some may find the course upsetting.
This course can be accessed for free by registered NHS staff.

Need some support?
The Butterfly project is partnered with the Skye High Foundation and can provide UK hospitals with memory packs for the families, Butterfly cot cards and posters along with other resources. The foundation organises fund-raising events to support these important activities and their work with families.
